The Canadian Deafblind Association-NB Inc. is committed to assisting people of all ages and with a wide range of complex difficulties.  And as people’s needs have changed, so CDBA-NB Inc. has adapted to meet those needs, offering quality services that place the individual, and their family, at the heart of all that we do. The term “Intervention” means to go between or mediate between.   If you are looking for a fulfilling position, please apply as per the directions listed below.

Fredericton Area:

(1) Looking for an individual to work with an adult woman with Angelman Syndrome.  Must be reliable, adaptable and like to socialize.  Some main activities for this client are going to the park for walks, swimming, attending our snoezelen room and socializing.  The hours would be 40 hours per week with this client until January of 2022.

(2) Looking for an individual to work with an adult woman with Angelman Syndrome.  Must be reliable, adaptable and like to socialize.  Some main activities for this client are going to the park for walks, swimming, attending our snoezelen room and socializing.  The hours would be 20 hours per week with this client.

 

The following are required for hiring:

  • Completion of high school

  • Criminal record check cleared for vulnerable sector

  • Child Abuse Registry check

  • First Aid and CPR certificates

  • Writing and document use
